PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon monoxide stable isotope concentrator and a carbon monoxide stable isotope concentration method which enable 13CO to be concentrated at a high concentration by a small number of steps.;SOLUTION: A carbon monoxide stable isotope concentrator is used which comprises: a distillation tower group where a plurality of distillation towers are cascade-connected to distillate stock carbon monoxide, and to concentrate carbon monoxide stable isotope molecules containing 13C; and a 18O loss appliance that, by making carbon monoxide stable isotope molecules containing 18O react by oxidation reduction, converts them into carbon monoxide stable isotope molecules containing 16O to reduce carbon monoxide stable isotope molecules containing18O, where the 18O loss appliance is connected to any other than the distillation tower arranged at a downstream side terminal of the distillation tower group, and where a part or the whole of carbon monoxide with carbon monoxide stable isotope molecules containing 13C concentrated is extracted out of the distillation tower and introduced into the 18 loss apparatus to be returned to the distillation tower.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
