PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a methylenated melamine-formaldehyde initial condensate for expanded body extremely good in storage stability and a manufacturing method of a melamine resin expanded body based on the composition, having light weight, rich in plasticity or elasticity, and in which an internal shape is porous.;SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a methylenated melamine-formaldehyde initial condensate for expanded body obtained by a primary reaction by adding a basic catalyst to a solution containing melamine monomer, formaldehyde and no alcohol and heating them, then a secondary reaction by adding an acidic catalyst and heating them.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
