PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance operation system and a maintenance operation method of a passenger conveyor, and a terminal device of a passenger conveyor, which can secure safety of maintenance work of removing a step.;SOLUTION: A maintenance operation system comprises: a control device 10 of a passenger conveyor comprising a step 1 fixed to a chain with a bo a camera 12 for transmitting a photographed image to a terminal device; and a terminal device 14 connected to the control device 10 and the camera 12 and capable of operating the passenger conveyor. An indication is attached to the step 1 from which the bolt is removed. The terminal device 14 stops the operation of the passenger conveyor when the step 1 with the indication reaches an entrance from a machine room, determines whether or not the camera 12 has photographed the indication using an image photographed by the camera 12 at the entrance, issues a warning if the camera 12 has not photographed the indication at the entrance, and if it has photographed the indication, operates the passenger conveyor and moves the step 1 with the indication from the entrance to a detachment position where the step 1 can be removed from the chain.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
