PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide index information which enables retrieval processing involving a meaning of a morpheme included in a retrieval character string.;SOLUTION: A computer extracts a plurality of morphemes from document information (the step 201). Then, the computer generates index information having a first logical value and a second logical value for each of the plurality of morphemes (the step 202). The first logical value is a logical value showing presence of a morpheme associated with morpheme information showing the morpheme and position information showing a position of the morpheme within the document information.
