PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimp tool positioning device capable of guaranteeing positioning of a workpiece exactly as prescribed.SOLUTION: A crimp tool positioning device 1 has a member 3, i.e., a substrate 4 particularly preferably produced of a transparent synthetic resin. A receiver 5 of the substrate 4 for a workpiece 6 is equipped with a lining 41, and is produced of transparent synthetic resin or metal. Long life of the crimp tool positioning device and the receiver may be guaranteed by using the lining 41, even when a material having a low abrasion resistance or a hardness is used. When transparent synthetic resin is used for the substrate, the user of a crimp tool can view the inside of the receiver 5 from the outside, and can inspect whether the workpiece placed in the receiver is positioned correctly. Preferably, the crimp tool positioning device integrates a lighting device 9 for radiating the receiver 5 through the transparent material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
