PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter base film composition that exhibits superior curability at low temperature, and to provide a laminate, color filter, manufacturing method for the color filter, solid-state image sensor, and image display device.;SOLUTION: A color filter base film composition of the present disclosure contains a compound comprising a polymerizable group(s), and a photopolymerization initiator, where M1/M2, representing a ratio of mass M1 of the photopolymerization initiator to mass M2 of the compound comprising a polymerizable group(s), is no less than 0.1.
