MEASUREMENT DEVICE AND MEASUREMENT METHOD OF AIR RESISTANCE OF PET BOTTLE ROCKET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement device capable of measuring the air resistance of a PET bottle rocket at an error of 10%.;SOLUTION: The fall start time is obtained by grasping a measured object 4 by an electromagnetic force, an LED electric circuit is instantly lit out by using a contact at which the LED circuit is disconnected just when a grasping surface separates from the measured object, and recording by a high speed camera 3 is performed. The landing time is obtained by recording the measured object 4 with the high speed camera 3. By installing an LED illumination 2 near the landing point of the measured object 4, the light-out time of the LED and the landing time of the measured object 4 can be obtained with one high speed camera 3.
