PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method which automatically generate a multidimensional database having a star structure and improve efficiency of data analysis.SOLUTION: A data multidimensional model generation system comprises: a table selection unit which selects a target main table and a target auxiliary table associated with the target main table on the basis of an analysis subject from a database stored in advance; a data type determination unit which selects a plurality of data strings required for analysis from the target main table, and divides the data strings into various kinds of data types corresponding to dimensions or metrics required for generation of respective multidimensional data tables; and a multidimensional model generation unit which converts/aggregates the data strings of the data types corresponding to the dimensions and the metrics required for generation of the multidimensional data table and the target auxiliary table, and generates a fact table and a dimension table so as to generate a star structured multidimensional data table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
