POWDERED ACTIVATED CARBON INJECTION FACILITY AND POWDERED ACTIVATED CARBON INJECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable production and injection of a stable particle size of pulverized active carbon regardless of variation in a particle size of raw material coal.;SOLUTION: A powdered activated carbon injection facility pulverizes powdery raw material coal with a pulverizer 30 placed in a water purification plant to produce pulverized active carbon C2 and supplies the pulverized active carbon C2 for water purifying treatment. The powdered activated carbon injection facility is provided with a particle size measurement device 32 for measuring a representative value of a particle size of active carbon C1 to be pulverized. The powdered activated carbon injection facility comprises a controller 33 which determines a proper pulverization energy value on the basis of a ratio of the representative value of the particle size of the active carbon C1 to be pulverized measured by the particle size measurement device 32 to a representative value of a target particle size of the pulverized active carbon C2 and on the basis of a correlation and which controls driving of a drive source of the pulverizer 30 so that the pulverizer performs the pulverizing at the proper pulverization energy value.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
