PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for arranging dental restoration article data in order for a CAM apparatus to produce a dental restoration article using a CADCAM disk after cutting out a dental restoration article, the present invention relating especially to a method for obtaining dental restoration article arrangement data so as to enable efficient cutting of a dental restoration article in the case that no cutting history can be used because cutting data is lost or the CADCAM disk has been cut by another system.SOLUTION: In order to cut out, using a CAM apparatus, a new dental restoration article from uncut part of a CADCAM disk from which a dental restoration article has been cut out, there is provided a method for obtaining dental restoration article arrangement data in which data on the dental restoration article to be cut out is arranged on data 5 on a cylindrical CADCAM disk to be used for cutting by the CAM apparatus, the method obtaining the dental restoration article arrangement data by using data 4 on an image of the CADCAM disk from which the dental restoration article has been cut out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
