PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reconstruction processing apparatus and the like which can reduce a noise pattern in the rotation direction while maintaining reduction of the improved streak artifact in comparison to the conventional iterative approximation reconstruction.SOLUTION: An image reconstruction processing apparatus includes a reception unit, a calculation unit, and a reconstruction unit. The reception unit receives projection data based on a detection signal obtained by detecting the transmitted X-ray emitted from an X-ray generation device and transmitting a subject. The calculation unit corrects a low frequency component of the statistical weight of the projection data by using the first function, corrects a high frequency component of the statistical weight by using the second function, and calculates the corrected statistical weight by using the corrected low frequency component and the corrected high frequency component. The reconstruction unit reconstructs an image by using the objective function containing the corrected statistical weight.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
