PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gap shape estimating method capable of efficiently estimating the shape of a gap formed between an object and a part of a body, while considering the individual difference of the body.;SOLUTION: In a gap shape estimating method of the present invention, using initial three-dimensional shape information of a bag in an initial state S0, first three-dimensional shape information of the bag in a first state Ss in which the bag disposed between an object and a first body is expanded, and first fluid information of the fluid introduced in the bag, a shape estimating function showing the relationship between the fluid information and the three-dimensional shape information of the bag is prepared.
