PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for supplying a hydrogen-containing fuel, capable of reducing NOx concentration while controlling the discharge of unburnt ammonia accompanying the combustion of an ammonia fuel; a thermal power plant; a combustion unit; and a remodeling method that confines a remodeling range of the combustion unit on a small scale.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a system for supplying a hydrogen-containing fuel, used for supplying the hydrogen-containing fuel to a plant including a steam turbine, the system including: a first ammonia-decomposing apparatus for decomposing ammonia to generate nitrogen and hydrogen; a fuel supply line for supplying a hydrogen-containing fuel containing the hydrogen generated with the first ammonia-decomposing apparatus to a combustion unit in the plant; and an extraction steam line for leading extraction steam of a steam turbine driven by steam heated by heat exchange with a combustion gas generated with the combustion unit to the first ammonia-decomposing apparatus. The first ammonia-decomposing apparatus decomposes the ammonia with the extraction steam as the heating source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
