PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display stand for articles.SOLUTION: The interactive display stand 1 is equipped with a compartment that stores an article 10 on a support body and that forms a surrounded housing with a single opening. The display stand includes control means for driving means which operates transfer means for moving the support body so that only one article may be seen through the opening. A user utilizes the control means 7 for the purpose of selecting the article, and the control means is connected to the driving means so as to control operation means to align with the opening, while the support body supports the article selected for viewing. The display stand is provided with security detection means for detecting presence of a hand within a security space. The security detection means is connected to the driving means for the purpose of starting programmed cycle in the occurrence of detection and locking the article inside the compartment through the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
