PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin pellet which is suitable for molding an inexpensive antibacterial synthetic resin product and carries metal nanoparticles, and to provide an antibacterial synthetic resin molded product using the synthetic resin pellet as a raw material and a method for producing the synthetic resin pellet.;SOLUTION: There are provided a metal nanoparticle-carrying synthetic resin pellet in which 0.005-0.5 wt.% of at least one metal nanoparticles selected from Au, Pt, Ag, Zn, Cu, nickel (Ni), cobalt (Co) and Al that have average particle diameter of 1-50 nm and alloys containing at least two or more metals of the metals is deposited on the spherical or columnar synthetic resin pellet; and a method for depositing a vapor-deposited substance obtained by thermal decomposition of a vapor-deposited source on the synthetic resin pellet under the atmosphere of 130°C or lower using any physical vapor deposition method selected from a vapor deposition method, an ion plating method and a sputtering method.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
