PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect flat plates to each other so as to reduce a relative angle deviation of a mirror on a connection interface without requiring high-accuracy measurement using a microscope or the like, and thereby, to avoid degradation in the quality of an observation image and to improve productivity of a device.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an optical plate 80 is provided, which includes a selection step (S14) of selecting a combination of flat plates to be connected from a plurality of flat plates; and a connection step (S15) of connecting the selected flat plates to manufacture a single-layer optical plate. The plurality of flat plates has a repeated structure in which at least a transparent member and a mirror are repeatedly positioned in one direction or two directions perpendicular to the thickness direction of the flat plate. In the selection step, the combination of flat plates is selected based on a deviation amount of an imaging position estimated by distortion of a chart line included in an image preliminarily obtained for each of the plurality of flat plates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
