PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LUT for linkage of a medium for which a linkage LUT is not prepared.;SOLUTION: In an S100, a non-linkage LUT0 and a linkage LUT3 are specified, a linear function f1(x,y) is generated for each grid. In the S110, parameters x (media variable numbers) where the color difference from the linear function is minimum as a whole are found for the linkage LUT1, LUT2. In an S120, an approximate expression is created by using values of all grids of the LUT0 through LUT3, and the media variables x. In an S130, multiple values are set for parameters and data of each grid is set by using the same approximate expression, and an LUT candidate corresponding to each parameter is created. In an S140, linkage print is performed by using respective LUT candidates LUT4-1 through LUT4-4, and a candidate where the linkage part and non-linkage part match is received, as a selection result, i.e., the media linkage LUT, in an S170.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
