PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling coating composition capable of forming a coating film excellent in antifouling properties, a (meth)acrylic copolymer and a resin composition suitable for obtaining the antifouling coating composition, and a method for producing the (meth)acrylic copolymer.SOLUTION: The (meth)acrylic copolymer has at least one of structures (I) represented by formula (1), formula (2), and formula (3) and at least one of structures (II) represented by formula (4) and formula (5).
