PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled toilet cleaning device capable of efficiently wiping a floor surface of a toilet room by a self-propelled cleaner, which can be caused to stand by so as not to get in the way when the self-propelled cleaner is not used, and also to provide a western style toilet bowl device incorporating the aforesaid device.;SOLUTION: A toilet cleaning device 1 includes a cleaner stand-by part 20 disposed in a peripheral wall space 32a of a toilet bowl body 31 of a Western style toilet bowl device 30, and a self-propelled cleaner 10 that comes and goes inside and outside a peripheral wall 32, and wipes a floor surface 3 while travelling outside the peripheral wall 32.
