REMOVAL OF WATER CHANNEL AND METHOD OF NEWLY CONSTRUCTING IT ON REMOVED PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water channel continuing to an existing one by removing only a defective part of a water channel while leaving its normal part intact without damaging a normal water channel, and by integrating the unremoved part left in the removed section with a separately and newly constructed precast water channel subsequently installed therein.;SOLUTION: Left and right sidewall parts each stretching along inside of the corresponding outside walls of an existing defective water channel body and its base part laid thereunder are vertically cut by a predetermined length using a cutter; the water channel body and its base part constituting the underlayer part thereof are vertically cut in the traverse direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction from front to rear using the cutter; a concrete unit to be removed is separated from the left and right sidewall pieces and the base part pieces of the underlayer part left therein, and is removed; a new water channel having a width a little shorter than the width in the traverse direction of the removed concrete unit is installed in the space from where the concrete unit is removed, subsequent to adjusting the height of the base part; and small spaces each formed between the left and right sidewall pieces left therein and the left and right outside walls of the new water channel are filled with mortar to form a continuous and integrated body.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
