PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable for differential signal transmission which is small in in-pair transmission delay time in a static state, compared with conventional cables, and also small in in-pair transmission delay time in a bent state or after cabling, and a cable assembly for differential signal transmission.SOLUTION: A cable 100 for differential signal transmission includes: a drain wire-provided twin-ax cable 103 in which two insulated wires 101 are arranged so as to be in parallel contact with each other and a drain wire 102 is arranged so as to be in contact with both of the two insulated wires 101 and in parallel with the two insulated wires 101; and a shield tape 104 which is wound around the drain wire-provided twin-ax cable 103. The apex angle ./SUB of an isosceles triangle ABC with a line segment AB binding together centers A and B of the two insulated wires 101, in the cross sectional view, as the bottom side and with a center C of the drain wire 102 as the apex is 74 degrees or more and 90 degrees or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
