PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive nuclide production device and a target device, where cooling efficiency of a target irradiated with a beam is high without interrupting attachment to an accelerator.;SOLUTION: A radioactive nuclide production device is configured to irradiate liquid target with a charged particle beam Pb to generate 18F and includes: an irradiation container 51 configured to store liquid target; a chimney 53 having a communication port 531 communicating with the irradiation container 51, and enabling the target to rise in a liquid or gas state with irradiation of the charged particle beam Pb; a slit 55 having an opening part 551 opened toward the chimney 53, the opening part 551 narrower than the communication port 531 of the chimney 53; and a communication passage 57 being one of return passages configured to return target, having flowed into the slit 55, to the irradiation container 51.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
