PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deep-dyeable polyester fiber excellent in deep-dyeable properties at the time of dyeing.;SOLUTION: A latent deep-dyeable sheath-core composite polyester fiber has a hardly soluble polyester resin composition arranged in a core part and has an easily soluble polyester resin arranged in a sheath part. The hardly soluble polyester resin composition contains a hardly soluble polyester resin and produced particles, and the produced particles are derived from a phosphorus compound and an alkali earth metal compound or derived from the phosphorus compound, an alkali metal compound and the alkali earth metal compound.
