PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projecting device capable of executing user authentication at the time of starting by specific operation without providing a numeric keypad for a password number, a lever, or a remote controller in a main body of the device.;SOLUTION: An image projecting device 10 includes an illuminance sensing unit 117 capable of sensing ambient brightness and an authentication signal verification unit 200 that counts the number of changes and detects the number as an authentication signal and executes user authentication when it is detected that the ambient brightness has changed by a predetermined length and a predetermined number of times, and in a case in which a power source of the image projecting device is turned on, when the authentication signal verification unit determines that the detected authentication signal is correct, the image projecting device is caused to shift to an operable activated state.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
