PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable, highly accurate trend monitoring device of power system, and power system stabilizer.SOLUTION: A trend monitoring device of power system includes a power system information database for storing measurement data acquired at a first node of a power system, a phase measurement value database for storing time synchronization phase measurement data acquired at a second node, a fault condition database for storing the trend state in assumption fault condition, a state estimation unit for estimating the state quantity with the information of the power system information database as the input, a stability error detection index calculation unit for calculating a stability error detection index by receiving, as the input, a state quantity estimate, the information of state quantity from the phase measurement value database, and the information of the fault condition database, and an error detection alert generation unit for comparing the stability error detection index with its threshold level, and generating an alert when the threshold level is exceeded. The size of divergence of the state quantity estimate for the information of state quantity from the phase measurement data is evaluated according to the assumption fault condition, and an alert is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
