PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate execution performance during a dynamic conversion type emulation operation before executing an object program with emulation.;SOLUTION: An emulation performance calculation device includes: a processor for executing an inputted program to count a step number being the number of executed instructions; continuous execution section extraction means for acquiring a section of continuous addresses in which instructions executed even one time among instructions of the program are stored, on the basis of trace information of the executed instructions; and performance calculation means for 1) estimating execution performance on the basis of the step number and emulation performance of each given instruction, 2) acquiring the number of instructions in an address section to estimate conversion performance on the basis of the number of instructions and conversion performance of each given instruction, and 3) calculating an execution performance estimate when the program is emulated by a dynamic conversion method, from both.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
