PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring prime mover which can elongate a drive time of machines even if using a single spiral spring.;SOLUTION: A spring prime mover 1 comprises: a first main gear 21 freely rotating with respect to a main shaft 20; a spiral spring 23 for rotating the main shaft 20 by being hoisted and elongated by the rotation of the first main gear 21; a second main gear 25 fixed to the main shaft 20; a first counter gear 31 fixed to a counter shaft, and engaged with the second main gear 25; a second counter gear 32 fixed to the counter shaft; a third main gear 24 engaged with the second counter gear 32, and freely rotating with respect to the main shaft 20; and a ratchet mechanism for limiting the relative rotation of the third main gear 24 and the first main gear 21 at the elongation of the spiral spring 23, and permitting the relative rotation of the third main gear 24 and the first main gear 21 at the hoisting of the spiral spring 23.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
