PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of distance measurement of a stereo camera with an inexpensive configuration and mounted on an aircraft.SOLUTION: A stereo distance measuring device 1 is provided on both main wings of an aircraft in a state of being separated from each other, and includes a pair of optical cameras 141 constituting a stereo camera and a control unit 18. The control unit 18 calculates position and attitude information on the position and attitude of each optical camera 141 on the basis of an amount of displacement of the main wings, corrects the position and direction of an image taken with each optical camera 141 on the basis of the calculated position and attitude information on each optical camera 141, and calculates distance from a photographing subject on the basis of the corrected pair of correction images.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
