PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material trimming cutter, a trimming device, and a trimming method that are capable of achieving high productivity without losing compactness and performing various types of trimming while conveying a sheet material.;SOLUTION: This trimming cutter has: a movable blade having a movable blade tip; a rotary shaft provided with the movable blade on an outer peripheral side; and a fixed blade provided with a fixed blade tip corresponding to the movable blade tip, and forms a trim shape on a sheet material by engaging the movable blade tip with the fixed blade tip through rotation of the rotary shaft, the shape of the movable blade tip is line-symmetrical having a symmetrical axis in the orthogonal direction of the rotary shaft, or corresponds to the chamfering shape of the corner of the sheet material. The trimming device is configured such that the axial direction of the rotary shaft of the trimming cutter and the conveying direction of the sheet material are parallel to each other.
