PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a LAMP method primer set, an examination kit for Staphylococcus epidermidis and method of examining Staphylococcus epidermidis which can quickly and simply detect Staphylococcus epidermidis which, of the various bacteria that reside on the skin, is beneficial to the skin.;SOLUTION: Staphylococcus epidermidis is grown on a culture medium containing peptone, D-mannitol, D-trehalose, and polymyxin B as principle constituents. A nucleic acid amplification reaction is carried out by the LAMP method using a primer set of a specific sequence on the bacterial strain assumed to be Staphylococcus epidermidis grown on the culture medium, making the differentiation of whether or not the bacterial strain is Staphylococcus epidermidis possible in a short time.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
