PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel section model of a molded article for forming a desired three-dimensional shape in a three-dimensional molding technique for melting a metallic material and performing laminate molding by depositing the melted material.SOLUTION: Each layer of a three-dimensional molded article formed by depositing a melted material along a given laminate route is modeled by an ellipse. An actual measurement database representing a relationship between a specific parameter indicating the ellipse model and a molding condition is prepared, and then a molding condition that a difference between a given target shape and a predicted shape predicted by referring to the actual measurement database and using the elliptic model is derived for each control point set for the target shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
