PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device which can implement parameter identification with high accuracy even in the case that a computational model includes many parameters required to be identified and the parameters mutually interfere with computation results.SOLUTION: A method for identifying a plurality of parameters comprises the steps of: grouping the plurality of parameters to be identified into a plurality of groups; identifying parameters in respective groups of the plurality of groups; repeating to identify parameters in respective groups of the plurality of groups while utilizing parameter values obtained by identifying parameters in one group of the plurality of groups, for computation for groups in which parameters are identified after identification of the parameters in the one group; and terminating the repeating when a prescribed termination condition is satisfied, and taking parameter values obtained by the repeating as identification results.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
