PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum-zinc alloy with improved strength and elongation percentage.SOLUTION: The aluminum-zinc (Al-Zn) alloy with improved strength and elongation percentage, comprising zinc of over 20 pts.wt. relative to total alloy weight is provided that comprises a forcibly formed discontinuous precipitate or lamella precipitate of 5% or more per unit area, wherein the discontinuous precipitate or the lamella precipitate has an average aspect ratio of 20 or more, precipitate average length of the discontinuous precipitate or the lamella precipitate is 1.4 μm or more and average spacing between the precipitate of the discontinuous precipitate or the lamella precipitate is 105 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
