CHLORINE COMPOUND DETECTION METHOD AND CHLORINE COMPOUND INDICATOR USING THE SAME AND CHLORINE COMPOUND DETECTION KIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chlorine compound detection method capable of improving detection accuracy and detection sensitivity of chlorine compound.;SOLUTION: The chlorine compound detection method is for detecting a chlorine compound contained in the air as a detection object, and the chlorine compound indicator and the chlorine compound detection kit use the same. The chlorine compound detection method includes the steps of: exposing collection water 2 to air containing chlorine compound; collecting chlorine compound using scavenger 3 added to the collection water 2; and adjusting the pH of the collection water 2 to the pH suitable for reaction between the scavenger 3 and the chlorine compound using a pH buffer agent 4 added to the collection water 2.
