PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste heat recovery system capable of continuously recovering waste heat even if a steam drum used as a steam separator of an exhaust gas economizer breaks down.SOLUTION: The waste heat recovery system is provided that comprises: an exhaust gas economizer 3 in which a high pressure steam generator 3a and a low pressure steam generator 3b are arranged from the upstream side to the downstream side of exhaust gas flow introduced from a marine main machine; a first auxiliary boiler 5a having a first steam drum 5a2; a second auxiliary boiler 5b having a second steam drum 5b2; a first circulation flow passage connected to the first steam drum 5a2 so that the first steam drum 5a2 is used as a steam separator of the first steam generator 3a; a second circulation flow passage connected to the second steam drum 5b2 so that the second steam drum 5b2 is used as a steam separator of the second steam generator 3b; a third circulation flow passage connected to the second steam drum 5b2 so that the second steam drum 5b2 is used as a steam separator of the high pressure steam generator 3a; changeover valves TV1 to TV3 that bring the first circulation flow passage into a non-circulation state and the third circulation flow passage into a circulation state; and check valves CV1 to CV6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
