PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrocardiogram monitoring system in which: an electrocardiogram is measured by an electrocardiograph carried in a wearable manner by a patient; when irregular pulsation is observed in the patient, an irregular pulsation occurrence time is marked for the electrocardiogram information immediately or later on a server; a doctor can reach the place of the electrocardiogram instantaneously, and diagnose the abnormal waveform, and to provide a portable electrocardiograph used in this system.SOLUTION: The electrocardiogram monitoring system includes a detachable portable electrocardiograph having an electrode attached to the chest in the vicinity of the heart of a patient that comes in close contact with the chest, which includes a communication function to successively transmit electrocardiogram data to a mobile terminal in real time, a server for identifying/distinguishing the electrocardiogram data transmitted from the mobile terminal, which has storage means for storing the electrocardiogram data in an electrocardiogram data storage place, and an irregular pulsation marking device for combining a time signal with the electrocardiogram data, and performing marking.
