PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand-written character input processing device, a hand-written character input processing method and a hand-written character input processing program that can restrain in a main memory the magnitude of the capacity secured when displaying in an input field.SOLUTION: A hand-written character input processing device is equipped with a display processor that replaces an input field in which characters are written with a field containing no hand-written characters, secures a plurality of data areas and sets the number of data areas fewer than the maximum number of characters that can be inputted but more than the number of fields in the displayed input field, and an input result processor that, in processing inputting results, temporarily stores image data of hand-written characters, stores character data of the hand-written characters when character recognition has been finished and deletes the image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
