PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape reel support device, a component mounting device and a tape reel supporting method capable of supporting a tape reel stably in vertical posture, regardless of the reel width thereof.SOLUTION: A tape reel support device includes multiple shaft members 31 extending in the horizontal direction in parallel with each other, and multiple roller members 32 fitted over these multiple shaft members 31, respectively. The multiple roller members 32 are configured to support the outer peripheral edges 22G of a pair of disk members 22 of the tape reel 17, by two inclined planes 32M formed to incline in the direction of the axis 31J of the shaft member 31 provided with the roller member 32 thereof in the opposite direction from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
