Retrieval apparatus, program and method for retrieving ambiguous record of user's memory

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a program and a method capable of retrieving record (voice data or text) that a user vaguely remembers.SOLUTION: In record, recording date/time are given. A retrieval device comprises: category classification means for classifying a plurality of pieces of record into a predetermined number of categories by using record accumulation means; similar record retrieval means for retrieving textually similar record under a predetermined condition or more compared with a query text by using the record accumulation means; vagueness degree calculation means for calculating a vagueness degree, for each retrieved record, by multiplying the number of pieces of record included in a category into which the record is classified by a time difference between recording date/time of the record and current date/time; and retrieval result output means for outputting record as a retrieval result for a query text in descending order of vagueness degree.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
