PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harmony information generation device, a harmony information generation program and a harmony information generation method, which can secure a degree of freedom of performance, and can add harmony sound so that harmony does not become monotonous and does not become aurally unnatural.;SOLUTION: A chord acquisition section 21 sequentially acquires chord information, and a reference sound acquisition section 22 sequentially acquires pitch information of reference sound. A corresponding information acquisition section 23 acquires first and second harmony tables stored in a storage device. A selection section 24 selects one of the first and second harmony tables for the respective reference sounds on the basis of a temporal relation between acquisition time of respective pieces of chord information and acquisition time of the pitch information of the respective reference sounds.
