PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fretting fatigue test device and a fretting fatigue test method for generating relative sliding in a contact piece and a test piece while fluctuating pressing force of the contact piece to the test piece by making a contact state between the contact piece and the test piece into a desired state to perform a fretting fatigue test.SOLUTION: A fretting fatigue test device is provided with: a contact piece 4; a load impartment part 7 which repeatedly imparts loads to the contact piece 4 in a first direction D1; a test piece 2 which contacts the contact piece 4 from a second direction D2 crossing the first direction D1; a pressing force impartment mechanism for elastically constraining the contact piece 4 and the test piece 2 from the second direction D2 to impart pressing force to the contact piece 4 and the test piece 2 at predetermined pressing positions; and a pressing position adjustment mechanism for adjusting the pressing positions of the pressing force impartment mechanism regarding the first direction D1, in which contact surfaces 4a, 4b, 20a between the contact piece 4 and the test piece 2 are set in shapes inclined in the first direction D1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
