The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of an ester comprising (a) an ester obtained by reacting an unsaturated, branched or saturated branched C 8-C 28 alcohol with an unsaturated linear or saturated linear C 12-C 22 fatty acid and (b) an elastomer Composition.
