PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, when compressing a huge file, there arises a problem that a numerical value indicating a beginning position in which what number characters are compressed in how many characters from the begging of the huge file may consume many bytes, and on the other hand, there is normally used a problem solution method which does not record the numerical value indicating the beginning position by using an LZSS method, however, processing becomes complicated.SOLUTION: By employing a coding technology which can record a numerical value by an extremely-small number of digits by combining multiples and remainder symbols, the complicated processing of a compression technology is simplified, and a processing speed is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
