PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To three-dimensionally display an object included in an outside scene which is viewed by a user through transmission of an image display part in front of him and two-dimensionally expressed in a transmission type head-mounted display device.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a transmission type head-mounted display device in which a user is made to visually recognize a virtual image and an outside scene. This display device includes: an image display device in which the user is made to visually recognize the virtual image; and an image adjustment part which reduces visibility of an object included in the outside scene and visually recognized by the user through transmission of the image display device and causes the image display part to display a virtual image three-dimensionally representing at least the object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
