PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of implementing a quality check test of an update winding under an air-core state.SOLUTION: While paying attention to the fact that a leak magnetic flux is reduced and influences of a core are almost eliminated in the case where a high-voltage side and a low-voltage side of a winding are tightly coupled, inductance short-circuiting the low-voltage winding in a view from the high-voltage winding side is computed from self-/inter-inductance of an air core of an update winding and further measured, thereby evaluating short-circuit impedance after re-assembly (exchange of the update winding with an existent winding). A winding not to apply voltage thereto is short-circuited and influences of a core are excluded from potential vibration, thereby implementing a lightning impulse voltage resistance test in an air-core state.
