PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb greens preparation machine capable of performing a pit excavation stably at all times in an undersurface standard at the pit excavation of bulb greens.SOLUTION: An onion preparation machine comprises an undersurface reference member disposed upstream of a root cutting part and below a transportation part 30 and having a portion, against which a lower face (or lower portion) of an onion can abut. Above the undersurface reference member, there is disposed an adjustment member 49 for adjusting an energization force of a coil spring 56, and the abutment of the onion carried by the transportation part 30 is allowed by positioning the adjustment member 49.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
