PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating furnace slab charging temperature prediction system capable of accurately predicting the temperature of charging a slab into a heating furnace in the hot rolling mill of a steel mill.SOLUTION: This heating furnace slab charging temperature prediction system is cast by a continuous casting machine, and predicts a heating furnace slab charging temperature by calculating slab temperature transition at a slab yard on the basis of a continuous casting machine operation achievement database that stores the torch-cutting time of a slab torch-cut with a prescribed length and a slab temperature at the torch-cutting time, a slab conveyance plan database that stores a conveyance plan for each slab and piling information at the slab yard, the torch-cutting time, the slab temperature at the time, the conveyance plan for each slab, and the piling information at the slab yard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
