PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer having flexibility even when the spacer has a hard rigidity.SOLUTION: There is provided a spacer S provided in a cable deflected part in an outer cable structure. The spacer comprises a plurality of spacer pieces 10 divided in a length direction of a cable P, and each spacer piece 10 has an outer peripheral shape that fits in a penetration hole 20 of the deflected part and has insertion holes 13 into which each strand "a" of the cable penetrates. After fitting the spacer S in the penetration hole, the strands "a" are respectively inserted into the holes 13 of the spacer S (each of the strand pieces 10), and as shown in the figure, the insertion of the cable P into the penetration hole 20 with the spacer S interposed therein is completed. In the deflected part, the length direction of the spacer matches a curved part 21 of the penetration hole because spaces between the divided spacer pieces make a curve. Therefore, the spacer pieces can be made of material with high rigidity and hardness, reducing a risk of damaging the spacer pieces even when a large tensioning force is applied to the cable.
