PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device for an anchor bolt, which enables high-precision alignment to be easily performed by one operator, even when the anchor bolt is arranged in a lower position away from a leveling string.SOLUTION: A positioning cap 3 is attached to a head 11 to perform positioning of an anchor bolt 1 having a lower end 12 embedded in a foundation 2 of a building. The positioning cap 3 comprises a cylindrical part 5 for performing attachment of the head of the anchor bolt, a mirror plate 4 in which a top surface 4a fixed above the cylindrical part is formed as a flat mirror surface, and a mark part 41, the top surface of which indicates a central position 410 of the mirror plate.
