PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taping device that can be commonly used for parts with different sizes by merely replacing a portion of the device.SOLUTION: A taping device comprises: a tape movement mechanism 50 for moving a carrier tape in which a plurality of part storage sections are formed at intervals; a part supply unit 60 for aligning and transferring parts PA in a scattered state and inserting the leading part PA into the part storage section of the carrier tape; a transfer assist mechanism 20 for assisting the transfer of the parts by the part supply unit 60; and an insertion assist mechanism 30 for assisting the insertion of the parts by the part supply unit 60.
